![]() One day in 1991 in Moscow she got invited to a presentation of the 4th Way group based in California. Eventually, she became a dance teacher, and a ceramicist. ![]() When perestroika came, Elena's first trip abroad after the fall of the Iron Curtain was to Delhi, India. She graduated as a paleontologist, disappointed with a perspective to be used in the oil industry, helping dig deeper into the mother earth so she started to study art and took courses in theater, Eastern philosophies, folk art, movement, and dance, including Indian Classical dance at the Indian Cultural Center in Moscow, Russia. She graduated from Moscow State University in 1986 where for five years she studied physics and chemistry, biology, geology and paleontology. Elena Jdanova was born in Russia - Soviet Union then, - and raised in an academic family. ![]()
